This modern quilt pattern is quick and easy to put together, and results in a show-stopper of a quilt that is as fun to look at as it is to create.  It makes for a great holiday quilt, but it can be a year-round quilt depending on your fabric choices.

Instructions are included for four different options:  a two-fabric option, a scrappy background option, a scrappy star option, and a super scrappy version that has both a scrappy background and scrappy stars.  Choose your own adventure!

Twinkle and Shine looks WAY more complicated than it really is.  There are only two types of blocks: four Giant Star blocks in the corners and twelve Triple Star blocks.  Simply rotating the blocks over the entire quilt gives the illusion of overlapping lines of stars.  It is also quite forgiving and will turn out great even if your attention to precision is not.
